Our Founder Ashia Bruton knows first hand how incarceration can have a domino affect on a family. She noticed that there weren't any supportive services to address the emotional & social needs of the families that were left behind and decided to take it upon herself to create a solution to this problem.
We provide families who are raising children with an incarcerated parent the following programs:
Mentoring, Prison Transportation, and our Generational Leadership program. All three of our programs are designed to help youth who are struggling emotionally with the loss of a parent.
We seek to break the cycle of broken homes one family at a time, by reducing recidivism rates and providing families with resources to thrive during and after the incarceration of a parent.
Our volunteers provide the momentum that helps us affect change. Using data driven models, we plan to provide solutions that will impact our community for a lifetime!
